las vegas as nick
so ive been in vegas for about a week now, and ive been taking pictures every now and then. last night me and robbie went to the strip with brian and his new ladyfriend, beth.

barbary coast and bally's from the pedestrian walkway. i had a job for a week in an art gallery in bally's... that sucked ass.

some of the new york crew was in town for new years, so today we went to in and out for LEON'S FIRST CHEESEBURGER(!!)
alex and leon. why alex's face is like that... i dont know.
in and out is worth the trip to the west. best burgers ever.

athena and lynsay (greenspun band represent!)
after in and out we went to shepler's western wear.. where leon proceeded to spend an absurd amount of money on fantastic western wear. athena had a secret destination for after the shopping spree and it was...

winter ipod
here are 5 albums that have been getting serious play on the ipod ever since the snowfall (aka winter albums...if you want to get all perks of being a wallflower):
animal collective - feels
antony and the johnsons - i am a bird now (listened to this one back to back to back to back [4 times] the other day, it was intense)
jens lekman - oh you're so silent jens
sufjan stevens - michigan (i listened to it throughout my entire winter in chicago, it really transports me*)
the wrens - the meadowlands
so yeah, i suggest picking these up, should you get gift cards for the holidays. or you could be like me: just download them and save the gift cards for book purchases. (btw when are they going to make books as easy to download as music and movies??)
*and by transports i mean brings me back to that place in my mind.. i wasn't trying to say that it "moves me" in a non-cliche way. im not that reliant on a thesaurus
ps. i didnt get any pictures this weekend, so my epic return to blogging is going to have to wait until next weekend, or maybe even later... judging on the SIX papers i have to do.

updating more.
i was bored tonight so i decided to read back over the blog. this thing was really entertaining for a time (at least i think so, so to hell with all of your people who skim it for facebook/myspace pictures!), so i've decided to begin updating like i used to.. usually on sunday nights and with running commentary of the events pictured. expect it to start this upcoming weekend.
