president's day
so last night was fun and sucked at the same time. fun because bloc party was good and the dj's were ok, sucked because i gave the guy my fake id on accident and he kept it. it was a good id, it will be deeply missed.
the good news is my camera decided to NOT take a shit, so here are some pictures.
so we were standing outside and it had started snowing, so the cabs were sparse, then all of the sudden out of nowhere came A VAN CAB. for those who don't know, van cabs are a very rare species in new york. A minivan that is a cab, and costs no more than a normal cab. we all ended up paying A DOLLAR to get to the party last night.

justin and athena (along with everybody else) were starting to get a little impatient.
and then finally at about 12:30 they got onstage and played a pretty good set.

so after bloc party played, most of the group went to get sangria, but me nick and alex decided to stay. at about 2:30 we go outside and discover that it has seemingly been snowing non stop since we've been inside, so we got a cab and go back to their dorm.
this pictures makes me wish that alex and nick would start a band together just so they could put it on the back cover of their album
and the night ended like many others, with nick rizzo dressing up like peter pan.
