valentine's day party at athena and lynn's
in honor of the valentine's season, my good friends athena and lynn threw a valentine's day themed party, complete with those little candies, construction paper & markers (for cards) and red/pink jello shooters (made with none other than the finest vodka manufactured out of syosset, long island, georgi.)
for me? cheap gin and tonic, please and thank you. could you also throw in some american spirit lights and no doz? great.
me, jason, and nick rizzo were feeling thoroughly wasted, so we really threw our music inhibitions to the wind...and actually ended up making a pretty solid mid 90's mix. complete with slow dances (all my life by k-ci and jojo) and fantastic singalongs (flagpole sitta by harvey danger). by the end of the night i could barely hold my head up/speak because of the cigarettes and singing along and the crash after all the no doz.
a fantastic night was had by all. it was well worth the hour of sleep i got.

the phrase(s) of the night were :"want some money? want a viper? like my body" ala anna nicole smith in the trimspa commercials (which seemed to have been taken off the air for a week, but then were brought back after (im sure) much public outcry)
