spring break trip
to further my mission of going to as little school as possible.. this year's spring break has somehow turned into a 2 week break. this is going to be the end of april. examine the map below:

yes. that orange line is mine and robbie's road trip. we decided it this morning. we're driving from vegas to reno, staying with aidan and company for a night, then driving to portland to visit whitney and partake in Reed college's yearly "Renn Fayre".. which, i've been told, is 3 days of drunken debauchery. then after our stay in portland, me and robbie are heading for the coast and driving down to san francisco.. hopefully staying there for a night (can anybody help? it'll be around may 2nd or 3rd) and then driving down to LA for a day or so, then driving home.
early prediction: best spring break ever.
i think im also going to bring my under utilized video camera on the trip and make a short documentary about it.
and to make up for the lack of songs.. here are two great ones.
tom waits - downtown train
i've been listening to alot of tom waits lately. you should too.. get rain dogs.
the wrens - every year you wasted
the wrens are a great band, and the meadowlands is a great cd, but the strange thing is that there are two versions of the album on the internet.. there's the pre release version that was leaked. then there's a mastered version that, strangely enough, sounds alot worse than the unmastered one, so i choose to listen to the pre release. this is a song that's on the pre release that, for some reason, didn't make it on the final version. great song.
so i have work tomorrow, then i have to write a last minute paper (why arent you writing it now nick? i dont know)... so dont expect a post tomorrow... and i actually have a pretty busy weekend planned out (athena's birthday party! doing sound on a documentary! being in a film!)so dont be suprised if this is the last update for a few days.
